T. Abdul Wahid Matric Higher Secondary School also known as TAW School is located in Ambur, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.[1] The school is affiliated to Matriculation system of Tamil Nadu until class 10 and the Tamil Nadu State Board for classes 11 and 12. level of Senior Secondary Stage is funded by the Self Financing Ambur, Tamil Nadu. This School was accredited by Tamil Nadu State Board. History

The school was established in 1983 with students. The first principal was Razeena Banu. In 2008, TAW School celebrated its 25th silver jublilee celebration with a large science exhibition, the first to be held in Ambur. In 2014 there are more than 1000 students.

Founder

T. Abdul Wahid was a business man in the leather industry, an educator and a writer of the 20th century, who worked for the betterment of education and other social services in the area.
