Systar was created in 1984 and has been listed on Euronext since 1999 (Paris STOCK Exchange technology compartment). Systar has pioneered the Business Activity Monitoring market and is now considered as the leading pure player in that space, with BAM solutions which are designed for IT Organizations and BAM Solutions designed the Business operations.
Systar introduced its 2 BAM product lines as early as 1998 (BusinessBridgeTM and OmniVisionTM), at a time when the needs were just emerging in large organizations. Today, Systar has capitalized across hundreds of implementations, both on the IT side and the Business side, and is now deriving 100% of its revenue from those 2 product lines. Systar has also gained recognition as Systar solutions have been adopted by more than 200 large customers across 15 countries.
Corporate history
1984 Systar brings a very innovative Performance Management and Capacity solution for mainframes to market. With the launch of its SystarVision product line, Systar rapidly develops and sustains a predominant market position with Unisys and Bull mainframes.
1990 Systar creates "Systar Technologies" a services business in France and then a year later, in 1991, introduces its services business in the United States.
Systar acquires Orkestra, an automation solution.
1993 SystarVision is launched for the Tandem market.
1995 Systar refocuses its strategy on the Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) market and invests approximately 25 million euros in the development of two new solutions, OmniVision and BusinessBridge.
Systar sells the Systar Technologies subsidiaries in France and the United States.
1997 Systar becomes a BAM market pioneer with the launch of OmniVision and BusinessBridge.
1999 Systar becomes part of the Euronext exchange.
2003 Systar signs its 100th BAM customer.
2004 BusinessBridge is selected as best Business Process Monitoring solution, receiving the prestigious Yphise Award. Systar And IBM Team Up To Integrate Systar Business Activity Monitoring Dashboards Into The IBM Infrastructure.
2006 Yphise Ranks BusinessBridge #1 Business Activity Monitoring Software Solution.
2006 Gartner rank BusinessBridge as the only "Strong Positive" BAM vendor.
