Summer Camp Chillicothe, IL

• Summer Camp is a three day music festival featuring 3 days of camping and various bands. It started back in 2000 at Three Sisters Park, Chillicothe IL by Jay Goldberg Events and Entertainment and Jam Productions. It's been growing in attendance for fans and performing artists since opening day. Last year, in 2006 it was closed down by a petition from over 80 different medical personnel from OSF St Francis Medical Center. After heavy appeal by Jay Goldberg and the city of Chillicothe the music festival is due to reopen on May 25. Last year the town of Chillicothe, normally with a population of around six thousand, had close to ten thousand in attendance.

General Camping Information

• General parking will cost an additional $5 per car upon entrance to the park. NO VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED ON THE CAMPGROUNDS, unless you get an RV spot.

For everyone's safety, we ask that everyone attempt to bring enough for self-sufficient outdoor survival! Have fun and be kind to your neighbors! Clothing - short/long pants, short/long sleeve shirts, fleece/jacket, socks and shoes. Camping - Tent, tarp, chairs, bug spray, coolers, flashlights, light stix. Miscellaneous- Cameras, party gear, costumes.

• For the safety everyone attending Summer Camp 2007, we ask that everyone follow this short list of rules and regulations:

        1. No pets allowed. However, boarding is available through a local company: Greater  Peoria
           Pet Resort, 9123 N Radnor Rd Peoria IL. (309) 693 9123.
        2. No outside alcoholic beverages will be allowed on the grounds; there will be alcoholic 
           beverages available in the vending areas. 
        3. No campfires will be allowed, though there will be a fire pit. The fire pit will be 
           controlled and we ask that everyone stay at least 5 feet from it. 
        4. Vending will only be allowed by registered vendors in the designated vending areas. 
        5. No outside food or beverage will be allowed in the main stage amphitheater. 
        6. Please do not set up your tent in the roadways. 
        7. Please place all trash in the nearest trash bin, no littering. 
        8. No Hunting. 
        9. No Vehicles in Forest Area.
