Background
Naidu has a Master's in Communication from RMIT University and a degree in Media and Communications from the University of Melbourne in Australia. She is one of the few Malaysian journalists to have worked in the Australian television news industry
Election coverage
Naidu was one of the first journalists hired to pioneer KiniTV, the first online TV news site in Malaysia. It evolved from online news portal Malaysiakini's video site, Malaysiakini.tv and is currently the only news site to be a YouTube premium partner in Malaysia with more than 120,000 subscribers. KiniTV's coverage of Malaysia's 13th general elections, anchored by Naidu, made Malaysian YouTube history - with more than 800,000 viewers from across the globe tuning into KiniTV for their live election reports
