Stranger Things (podcast)
Stranger Things is a science fiction anthology video podcast created by Earl Newton, and is the first science fiction series shot and released in high definition on the Internet. The show premiered in March of 2007, pre-dating the larger budget Sanctuary and Masters of Science Fiction. Designed as an anthology series similar to The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits, Stranger Things tells stories of the bizarre and extraordinary, set in the modern world.
Stranger Things's theme music is "Exurgency" by Zoë Keating from the EP One Cello x 16.
Stranger Things was a finalist in the 2007 Parsec Awards for Best Video Podcast and Best Video Production.
