History
In August 2009, the company launched its carbon fiber concept bicycle the Milano Strada-PRO. The bicycle is made from high-modulas carbon that has a tensile strength of 50 tons per square cm, and an exterior weave of 3000 weaves per crossing (3K).
Preparing for 2010, the company introduced the Stradalli Turin high modulus carbon fiber road bike. The design was a evolution of the Milano Strada-Pro
In 2011, Stradalli released the Palermo full carbon professional road bike with newly redesigned head tube and BB30 bottom bracket area. The Palermo one of the stiffest and lightest frames offered by Stradalli to date.
On October 27, 2011, Stradalli Cycle launched the Stradalli Napoli.
The company launched the Sorrento SLR 100% 3K carbon fiber bicycle on January 16, 2012. The Sorrento SLR had a tensile strength of 50 tons per square cm included a curved aero wind shelter for the rear wheel giving lower wind drag.
On July 20, 2012, Stradalli Cycle released the Trebisacce RED-PRO full carbon road bike with Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting.
After the doping scandal involving Lance Armstrong, Stradalli Cycle offered Armstrong the role of design and testing consultant for Stradalli's 2014 product line. Although Stradalli Cycle strongly condemns any use of banned substances and any form of cheating, the company believed that Armstrong’s years of professional cycling experience made him an ideal candidate for a consultancy and testing position.
Stradalli Cycle held the first meeting of its new eight member Advisory Board in January 2013. The new board, which is made up of cycling coaches, champion racers and manufacturing business leaders, supplies Stradalli's management team with a stream of diverse ideas, knowledge about the latest cycling technologies and insights into the current and future trends of the cycling community.
Riders and Sponsorships
In December 2010, the company announced that Grant Potter, the 2010 World Masters Stage Race Champion and 2009 National Masters U.S. champion will use the Stradalli Palermo for the 2011 international race season.
By January 2011, Stradalli had teamed up with Ivan Dominguez, the professional road bicycle racer and winner of the Pan Am Games, to use a Stradalli Milano during 2011.
In August 2011, the company became an official sponsor of the World Masters Cycling Federation and therefore an official sponsor of the Masters Races in the Austrian market town St. Johann in Tirol.
On November 16, 2011, the zMotion Racing Team announced that Stradalli had signed on to be its official Bike Sponsor for the 2011-2012 racing season.
For the 2012 World Cup Masters Race in the Austrian market town of St. Johann in Tirol, Stradalli announced that Peter Schoonjans, the winner of the 2006 GP Lucien Van Impe road race, would ride a Stradalli Trebisacce Red-Pro for the event.
