Steven H. Tucker
Steven Hatting Tucker (born 1988) has been the twelfth president of the United Latter-day Church of Jesus Christ since August 2007. The church claims 100 to 200 individual members. Tucker's father was a member of the Kingston clan along with his mother Ava Tucker, his father's third wife. With four brothers and two sisters, Tucker is the youngest of all of them. Before becoming leader of the United Latter-day Church of Jesus Christ, Tucker was the Church Historian from April 2007 up until Heber G. Smith's death in August 2007, in which Tucker accepted his position as President of the Church. Tucker was proclaimed publicly by Heber G. Smith to be his successor on June 3, 2007 and ordained him as High Priest Apostle the same day. Since June, Tucker has served as the Chairman of the Uniformed Latter-day Commission (ULC) taking over for Smith due to Smith's perpetual illness.
