Steve Marchena
Steve Marchena (born 1970) is an American classical, rock and jazz guitarist. He is the founder and leader of the Hypaspace, a founding member of both The Back Bay Guitar Trio and Superbug and has taught guitar at the Berklee College of Music.
Marchena grew up in Walpole, Massachusetts and began playing guitar at the age of 15. He later became a student at Berklee, where he graduated with honors.
He has shared the stage with Al DiMeola, Nuno Bettencourt and many other famous guitarists. In addition he has toured with MusicAL theater productions such as: Beehive, Leader Of The Pack and Always... Patsy Cline. His many tours have included Canada, The United States and Europe.
