Steve Hili
Steve Hili is one of Malta's top radio personalities. As well as Fizzy Morning on Capital Radio 88.7, a show well known for its wackiness and oftern controversy, Steve is also a TV and theatre personality.
Radio
Steve has been on Radju 99 and Capital Radio for a total of 10 years. His shows on Capital Radio have courted controversy, sometimes due to [...] content. Many consider him to be quite funny. Stunts performed on air include lighting matches up his nose to cure his simus problems, or giving away pubes as prizes for listeners. he has interviewed many top Maltese and foreign acts including Krokus (who he asked to Jam with, and them gave them strawberry jam and bread to do it with), Samantha Fox, Ira losco, Chiara, Fabrizio Faniello, Scream Daisy etc. Recently in the run up to Steve's marriage he introduced his wedding updates which caused huge amounts of interest in Malta
Television
Steve has been presenting and producing the cult children's TV show Storja Tinkiteb on TVM Malta's national station, since 2006. Other television credits include guest appearances in L-Erbgha li huma and others. His first TV appearance was when he presented The Malta Fashion Awards in 2002, becoming the first ever Radio persnality (at that time he had not yet broken into TV) to present these awards.
Theatre
His theatre performances include roles in 'Who's life is it anyway', '1565', 'The Secret Garden' and the role of the Cat in the Hat in Seussicla the MusicAL. Steve was in fact the first ever European Cat in the hat, when Seussical opened in Malta in April 2006, the Maltese shows being the first ever staged in Europe by a professional drama company (Masquerade)
