Other information
- While on air Carlisi often speaks about winning his fight with obesity, occasionally mentioning that he once weighed upwards of five hundred pounds. Carlisi’s struggle with his weight was during Foundry’s heyday. His weight was such an issue that Carlisi was unable to wear the gaudy sexually ambiguous wardrobe that is common of glam rock performers. Carlisi solved this problem by purchasing leopard striped women’s clothing at Lane Bryant and wearing them on stage.
- Carlisi is of Italian and Lebanese ancestry and has a tremendous amount of body hair that combined with his size, and alleged homosexuality has led to him being singled out as a bear.
