Stephen Reynolds Filmmaker

Stephen Reynolds was born 15th August 1978. He is a filmmaker, cameraman based in Coventry, United Kingdom. He is most popular for his independently produced origins story of Lara Croft entitled Tomb Raider Ascension. The film had a globally positive reception through its release in 2008 and is regarded as one of the best fan films ever made. Many fans believe his back story of Lara Croft is the main influence for Hollywoods reboot of the franchise which is also an origins story AbOUT a younger Lara Croft and her rise to becoming Tomb Raider. On some Fan forums it was stated that Stephen has signed a deal with WarnerBros for permission of the title 'Tomb Raider Ascension' for the upcoming feature as yet this is not confirmed.His style is identified by strong iconic central characters, handheld-quick edit action set pieces, heroic silohuettes of the lead, strong female characters and a love for Hummers.
