Stefan Swanepoel

Stefan J. M. Swanepoel (born Jan 5, 1958 in Kenya), is an American business executive, author. He serves as Chairman and CEO of the RealtyU Group Inc and lives in Orange County, California.

Works

Swanepoel has penned thirteen books and papers including the Swanepoel Trends Report, a publication on change in the residential real estate industry in the United States.

This 150 page report every year details the top 10 most significant trends in real estate. In his 2007 Trends Report Swanepoel identifies “New Business Models and Paradigm Shift” as the current #1 fundamental business trend in the industry. These "new paradigm" companies according to Swanepoel are spawned largely by the technology age's information access, including consumer access to multiple listing services, information that was once available only to real estate agents.

Swanepoel has been ranked as one of the Movers and Shakers in the Real Estate Industry by REALTOR Magazine Online and was invited by Donald Trump to be one of the contributors to his latest book.

Education

Swanepoel holds a Bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Pretoria, a Master's degree in Business Economics from the University of Johannesburg, and diplomas in arbitration, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, computer science and marketing.
