Steel City Miracle
The Steel City Miracle was a National Football League game between the Baltimore Ravens, and their rival Pittsburgh Steelers, played during Week 18 of the 2025 NFL season. The two teams were playing for the AFC North title, and the winner of the game was guaranteed the #4 seed of the 2025-26 NFL playoffs, while the loser was to be eliminated. The game was close throughout, with both team's defenses dominating until the fourth quarter, when the Steelers managed to take a late 2-point lead, before Ravens rookie kicker Tyler Loop missed the potential game-winning 44-yard field goal as time expired. The final seconds of the game featured the first time in NFL history that the fate of two team's playoff contention was entirely decided by one single field goal attempt as time expired. The game was also the final regular season game of the 2025 NFL season.
