Starfury Conventions
Starfury Conventions is a company that run several yearly science fiction conventions in the United Kingdom
The conventions always take place during a weekend, starting with registration and opening ceremony Friday evening, and ending with the final party Sunday evening. Three ticket types are available Standard (90 GBP), Gold (160 GBP) and Child (35 GBP, ages 8â14). All tickets include an autograph by all the guest actors.
Refund Scandal
In early 2013 the event LIP'D due to take place at Heathrow Hilton was cancelled by the event owner Sean Harry. To date, less than half of the attendees are yet to receive their promised refund from Mr Harry. In July of 2014, guests awaiting their refunds have jounced forces and are currently in the process of taking legal action against the event owner, Sean Harry.
