Stanley Rodillians RUFC Ltd
Stanley Rodillians RUFC Ltd is a rugby union football club based in Stanley, north Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England.
The club's name has evolved over the years. Originally named Old Rodillians (indicating their historical roots, former pupils of the Rodillian High School) the 'Old' was later dropped.
When the club were in a position to purchase its own land in Stanley, West Yorkshire it was felt that a change of name might encourage increased interest from the local area.
Affiliations
Stanley Rodillians RUFC are affiliated with both Yorkshire RFU and the English RFU (Rugby Football Union).
Location
Rods are based at Manley Park, Lee Moor Road in Stanley, North Wakefield.
Other Users of Manley Park
Rods, as they are affectionately known, have fostered good relations with their local rugby league counterparts, Stanley Rangers RLFC (who are located within a hundred yards on the opposite side of Lee Moor Road). Even now Rods rent one of their pitches to the Rangers junior team and train there on a Monday evening.
Manley Park is also home to Rodillian Road Runners, a small and very friendly running club with members of all abilities.
Other users of the property include Rothwell Temperence Band, a successful brass band.
Within the last couple of years Manley Park has even seen regular football, with Rothwell girls and now Stanley United adult men training and playing out of the club.

- Thursday 7:00pm until 9:00pm
- Juniors
- Tuesday 6:30pm until 8:30pm
The current senior coach is Brychan Jones.
The head of junior rugby is Ian Schofield.
Teams
Currently (Q4 2008) Rodillians are running a first XV, a 'Legends' XV (for mature and developing players) and an under 16s XV.
With an influx of players during the summer 2008 season the club are in the position to resurrect a second XV which will become the development and feeder team for competitive rugby in the first XV.
