Stalked at 17

Stalked at 17 is a teen drama film that premiered October 27, 2012 on Lifetime.

Plot

17-year-old Angela, a high school student, meets 21-year-old Chad, and he invites her and her friend, Tenaya, to a party at his fraternity house. At the party, Chad and Angela talk intimately, and end up having unprotected [...]. Angela, after finding out she is pregnant, falls in love with Chad, and he swears to take care of her and the child since he had an unstable childhood with an imprisoned mother and unknown father, and was adopted. Over the course of the film, Angela sees Chad's shortcomings, and their romance ends when Chad's adoptive mother phones Angela's mother and informs her of the pregnancy. Chad begins to stalk Angela and her family, and they file for a restraining order. When Chad violates the restraining order, he is sent to jail.

By the time Chad is released, Angela has had the baby, a boy named Josh. Chad gets released and nobody at all is notified. Nobody, not his adoptive mother, the mother of his baby, nobody. Chad gets picked up by his biological mom that recently got out of prison for robbing people for money for her junk([...]). She asks him where the first place he wants to go is. He says "To see my baby". She takes him to his adoptive mother's house, he sneaks into her open door bedroom and steals expensive jewelry which is all in a ceramic bowl for him to easily dump into his thievery bag. Don't worry; there WAS a gun in the drawer below the jewelry for him to steal, which he does. He enters Angela's parents' house armed with a different handgun than the one he had stolen from his adoptive mother, and abducts her and Josh. He and his biological mother intend to take them to a remote cabin, but Angela insists on going to a convenience store to buy ointment for Josh. Angela starts flirting with Chad, and his mom tells him that she is a liar. Chad instantly pulls the car over to the curb and yells at his mom and tells her that he has always hated her because she was more worried AbOUT partying with [...] than taking care of him as a kid. He then tells Angela that he'll stop at the nearest store and get this magical ointment that the baby will die without according to Angela. At the store, she secretly asks for help by taking the maintenance pencil out in the bathroom and writes to call 911 inside the stall. Luckily there is a woman who just can't wait to get in and she sees the inside of the stall and alerts the store clerk to activate The Silent alarm. In the meantime, the clerk has to shoot Chad in the shoulder to subdue him. The film concludes with Angela holding Josh as sirens approach and Chad's mother holds him as he is in pain on the floor.
