Software Shop Limited (known as SSLWireless) is one of the largest IT solution company in Bangladesh. Initially, the company was started as a IT Training Institution, but later it started its journey in the field of Software Research and Development along with Mobile Based Services (VAS).

Foundation

SSL Wireless started its journey as an IT Training Institution in 1999. Later from 2007 it started as a software development company.

Company Development history

In 1999 SSL Wireless started its office at Kawran Bazar of Dhaka, later the company got their own office-building at Eskaton Road of Maghbazar at Dhaka. In the beginning the company started its work with around 15 staffs which increased up to 45 in the year 2007, and in 2014 they have received 125 staffs.

Market Development history

SSL Wireless started with Mobile Portal Services, Mobile Financial Services, Mobile News Services etc. in the year of 2007–8. Then later they introduced Digital security services, Web design and Development and Software Research & Development between 2008–13. The company has achieved a great business market in the field of IT in very short period of time.

SSL Wireless launched Launched Virtual channel (TV) & Banking Service 1st time in Bangladesh in the year 2008. In 2010 it became the largest Banking & Media Service Aggregator and evolved as a Merchant Service Provider. In 2011 the company launched e-Commerce service 1st time in Bangladesh. In the year 2012 the company launched Sales Automation (FieldEz), Virtual Recharge (Easy) and Travel Solution (Travo.co) 1st time in Bangladesh.

Certification, Verification and Awards

SSL Wireless has successfully positioned themselves as the M.V.N.O (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) in Bangladesh for mobile data services and the benchmark service provider in mobile financial services.

For its outstanding efforts in innovation of new mobile services for different Telephone company and Television channel, SSL Wireless has received the "Best Innovative Service 2010" Award from GrameenPhone. It has received recognition certificate for the 1st Mobile Banking Service in Bangladesh in the mBillionth Award South Asia 2011 held in New Delhi, India. It has also received recognition certificate for SSLCOMMERZ, the 1st Online Payment Gateway in Bangladesh in the National Digital Innovation Award South Asia 2011 held in Bangladesh.
