Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute of Technology
Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute Of Technology (SRIT) is an engineering college in Rotarypuram, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was founded in 2008 by Sambasiva Reddy Aluru. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur and approved by AICTE. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
AbOUT Principal
Dr. K. Subba Reddy, the Principal of SRIT, is a doctorate in mechanical Engineering. He has had a work experience of 33 years in various colleges in Andhra Pradesh. He has been with SRIT from the past 1 year and heads a team of around 120 qualified teaching staff from various departments..
Residential facilities
Separate Boys and Girls Hostels are constructed within the campus. Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian food is served. Full-time duty wardens are appointed to maintain discipline and to attend the needs of the inmates. To preserve the academic atmosphere study hours are also organized. Hot water with the help of the solar system is provided to the residents.
Transportation
A transportation with a fleet of 32 buses are available, transporting day-scholars and staff to the college from Anantapur and Tadipatri.
