Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital
Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital is an ultra modern multi specialty tertiary care hospital with medical research center. The hospital has an inpatient capacity of 350 beds inclusive of 50 critical care beds in different specialties. As a tertiary care hospital, the services offered are comprehensive covering investigation and diagnosis to therapy, surgery and post operative care. The inpatient services are complemented with a day center, outpatient facilities and an exclusive center for health check up for executives.
- Sri Manakula Vinayaga Educational Trust was formed with the avowed objective of imparting quality technical education and medical education specially to the weaker section of the society. To cherish this objective and to join hands with the policy of the Government of Pondicherry in enhancing technical education to meet the needs of our nation, the trust has established “Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College” in 1999. The Trust has also established Venkateswara College of Education and Venkateswara Teacher Training Institute in 2005. In the field of Medical Education, it started Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital in 2006. This Institution was approved by the Medical Council of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and is affiliated to the Pondicherry University.
