SPT Sports Management Pvt. Ltd. is a sports management firm based out of Bangalore, Karnataka.The company operates through various verticals like Sports events, Sports Academies, Sports Infrastructure and Consulting, Sports Scholarship, Golf retailing and Sports Tourism.

AbOUT

Founded in 1998 by Mr. Amit Saran, SPT Sports was first in the country to start the concept of integrated Sport Management in India. It was started humbly under the banner of Sports Promotion Team in 1992 by conducting summer camps and mini-marathons. It then transformed into a full fledged organization in 1998 and is involved in development of sports through its events, own sports academy and infrastructure development.

Academies

SPT's academies operates in India at three different locations:

  • Bangalore – SPT Sports Academy, SPT Sports Aadhak Academy, AECS Maaruti Magnolia School, St. Francis School
  • Delhi – SPT Sports Academy, Noida Stadium
  • Assam – Numaligarh and Kokrajhar

Events

The main events conducted by SPT are-

  • Corporate Football Fusion - A 6-a-side multi-city football tournament
  • Corporate Futsal League - A 6-a-side tournament is conducted over 4 weekends during the monsoon in Bangalore
  • Super Max 8 Cricket - A 8-a-side corporate cricket tournament for leading 24 corporates in Bangalore
  • Kingfisher Corporate 5s - One of India's biggest corporate futsal tournament
  • SPT Junior 5s - A monthly futsal tournament for kids below the age of 16
  • Golf Events - Conducts mainly events like GATI Golf Swing, All India Police Golf, N.A. Muthanna Memorial Golf, TaylorMade Skins
  • Water Polo
  • Campsports - Summer Camp for kids under the age of 16 in sports like football, cricket, archery, swimming, tennis.

Beyond business

In order to foster sports talent from the grassroots level in rural India, SPT Sports has come up with initiatives like "SOCCER A CHILD" and "SOCCER VILLAGE PROGRAM" aimed at engaging young kids to the sports.
