Special Troops Battalion 4th Infantry Division (United States)

The 4th Infantry Division Special Troops Battalion came into existence on 15 December 2004. Commanded by LTC John W. Baker and CSM Edward Parker. It was formed out of portions of the former HHC 4th Infantry Division, 124th Signal Battalion, 104th Military Intelligence Battalion, 4th Military Police Battalion, 610th Engineer Detachment(Topo), and the 4th Infantry Division Band. during this deployment, Corporal Adam Knox (KIA September 17, 2006 in Baghdad), belonged to the 303rd.
