Sparkedit
SparkEdit is a computer program that is used to edit ".MAP" files on the video game HaLo: Combat Evolved. It was created as a way for modders to see how the maps were put together. The software was created by Grenadiac, administrator and creator of the extremely successful Halo modding website Halomods. __TOC__ SparkEdit is mainly used as a modding tool, and using Sparkedit you can move, swap, add, delete and duplicate Objects. Sparkedit only works on the full version of Halo and will not work on the trial version without a patch.
Using sparkedit
Once you have downloaded SparkEdit (see the link at the bottom of the page), if you have the trial version of Halo, apply the Sparkify patch that ships with Sparkedit (for instructions on how to do this, see image at top). Then open SparkEdit:
