Soprano Design Pty Ltd is an Australian software development company specialising in the design and development of software for the mobile messaging industry.
Soprano Design was established in 1994 by Founder and CEO Richard Favero after he recognised a need in the Australian and global market for enterprise grade mobile communications for business.
Headquartered in North Sydney, Australia with operations in the UK and Europe and a representation in the US, Soprano Design has grown under Richard’s leadership, from a small software-consulting firm into a multinational organisation specialising in the development and provision of world leading mobile messaging and wireless application infrastructure.

Soprano Design specialises in the design and development of software for the Telecommunications Industry, and develops the core messaging infrastructure that routes and delivers SMS and MMS messages.
Soprano also develops off-the-shelf business applications that use these messaging platforms to meet particular business needs, which include: sending SMS & MMS messages from a browser; a broadcast messaging application for direct marketing; a campaign management tool for managing inbound marketing campaigns including surveys, votes, and competitions and a tool for distributing and confirming staff rosters via SMS.
