Patrick Milling Smith began his career as a line producer in London and later moved to the United States to produce for Satellite Films. After a year of producing in the States, Patrick teamed with Brian Carmody, whom at the time was Satellite’s Head of Sales, to create SMUGGLER. There is currently a New York and Los Angeles office, as well as a partnership with London based STINK. They have produced top commercials for brands such as Nike, Coke, Volkswagen, American Express, Gatorade, Snickers, Adidas, Heineken, Miller, Virgin, Geico, eBay, Pepsi and BMW.
Music Videos
Smuggler’s music video division maintains a stronghold from director’s HAPPY, Brian Beletic, Ben Mor, Jon Watts, Jonnie Ross, Snorri Bros, and Stylewar. They have created videos for Lady Sovereign, The Hives, Franz Ferdinand, Nas, TI, Juvenille, Kaiser Chiefs, Black Eyed Peas, Fatboy Slim, and Ceelo to name a few.
Long Form Work
Smuggler has created long form work for adicolor, called “Green’ directed by Happy, long form work for ebay, called "Let Them Post" campaign where users created short films about products on Ebay, and long form work for Office Max, called "Schooled" directed by "Murderball" director Henry Alex Rubin. Smuggler has also created short film for Sony Flight called “Pony”.

http://www.boardsmag.com/articles/magazine/20060601/viralmsn.html SMUGGLER won a Grand Prix Cyber Lion at Cannes for the groundbreaking viral Ecko spot “Still Free” which depicts graffiti artists breaking into Andrews Air Force Base and tagging Air Force One. The internet hoax was released to a few targeted websites where it was picked up by the internet community and carried to the widest possible audience, eventually reaching over 17,000 global news outlets, every major website, blog, and news networks in the country with zero media dollars spent. Within the first 2 weeks of the film’s release, the Still Free website was visited 23 million times. The total audience to date is estimated at 115 million viewers.
