Smriti Rao
Smriti Rao (born 21 November 1980) is a newsreader with the Indian English language news channel NDTV 24x7. She was formerly with Headlines Today, another English news channel in India.
Smriti is a Hyderabad-born journalist, who started her career as a film critic. She has had stints with Doordarshan and Headlines Today in the past.
Smriti, a Commerce Graduate from St' Anns (Osmania University), made a mark in her NCC Career and had been to London to see the queen as part of her Exchange Program to UK.

Post to her graduation she started her career in Journalism with Doordarshan as a field Journalist that was a short stint with DD later saw her as a News Reader in Headlines Today with Western looks.
Working with HT for quite enough time Smriti appeared in NDTV 24X7 with Traditional Indian apparels.

Was elected as National 4th best NCC cadet. Best State level NCC cadet. Looks proud: when received the PL Colonel Chowdary Award. NCC Senior under officer. Won the medal in National Integrity Camp. Took part in Republic Day Parade - Dining with President was a moment of pride for her. Represented India as Cultural Ambassador in Britain as part of her Youth Exchange Program.
all the above is not cake walk for her, hours and hours of practice rigorous training made Smriti proud Indian, I admire her and her hard work not just because of she is proud Indian rather she can be a Ideal person for many young Indians who should know AbOUT her hard work and success.
