Smart insulin
Smart insulin (also known as glucose responsive insulin, adaptive insulin, or MK-2640) is a type of insulin used to treat and PReVENT hyperglycemia. It is supposed to adapt either less or more to the level of glucose in the bloodstream to keep it stable.
Medical uses
It is primarily used to treat type 1 diabetics, but will eventually be used on type 2 diabetics.
Dosage
A constant amount would be injected every so often and it would adapt to the user's blood sugar levels. This would eliminate the need for worrying AbOUT an insulin:carb ratio. Hypo and hypergylcemia would be a thing of the past.
