SM Town Week Girls' Generation - Märchen Fantasy is a solo concert of Girls' Generation that was part of SM Town's music festival, SMTOWN WEEK. The concert was held on December 22, 2013 at the Korea International Exhibition Center.

Background

In November 2013, S.M. Entertainment announced that they will be holding a week-long concert and festival called SMTOWN WEEK. The festival includes S.M. Entertainment's top groups, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x) and EXO. Each group (with the exception of f(x) and EXO who performed in a joint concert), held a solo concert during the week, with some groups performing for two nights while the others performed for only one. Tickets went on sale on November 12 through Gmarket. The festival was held from December 21 to 29, and Girls' Generation's solo concert was held on the 22nd.
