Slogoman

Joshua Robert Temple (born 16 May 1997), better known online as Slogo (formerly Slogoman), is an English YouTuber and digital content creator. He is best known for his long-form gaming videos, commentary, and collaborative multi-player series focused on sandbox games such as Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V.

Early life and education

Temple was born and raised in Farnham, Surrey, England. Before pursuing a full-time career in digital media, he played competitive rugby and studied psychology in college.

Early years and branding (2013–2019)

Temple launched his main YouTube channel on 4 August 2013, initially uploading gameplay videos, custom race walkthroughs, and mod showcases for Grand Theft Auto V. His online moniker and early branding were inspired by an aversion to slugs from his childhood. Over time, he expanded his content library to include titles such as Garry's Mod and Roblox.

Collaborative groups and major series (2020–present)

Temple became widely recognized for forming long-standing content partnerships and creator collectives. He initially gained massive traction alongside fellow YouTuber Jelly (Jelle Van Vucht) and Crainer (Benjamin Dreyer Cooper), forming a prominent trio that built shared multi-player servers and challenge series.

Following shifts in his collaborative circle, Temple continued expanding his network, introducing new recurring cast members and friends—such as youtuber Stubaroo and Finnogin—into popular multi-player worlds like *Squid Island* and *Cherry Island*. These ongoing survival series feature dynamic roleplay, town expansions, and playful rivalries. His primary channel has accumulated billions of views and surpassed 10 million subscribers, solidifying his status as a prominent fixture in UK gaming content.
