Skippy Bunny
Skippy Bunny is a character in the Disney film Robin Hood. He is a young rabbit who admires Robin and wants to join his endeavors.
Role in Film
Skippy's role in the film is a symbol of bravery. He lives with his mother and many siblings including his sisters Sis and Tagalong. His best friend is Toby Turtle. He is first seen celebrating his seventh birthday party. The SHERIFF of Nottingham interrupts the party and takes Skippy's present, a penny. Robin Hood cheers Skippy up by giving him his bow, arrow, and hat to make up for the lost present. Later, when Skippy and his friends try out the arrow, it lands into the castle grounds, where they meet Maid Marian and Lady Kluck. He is later seen at the Archery Tournament, the party afterward, and in jail. When Robin Hood jumps off the burning castle tower after the prison break, Skippy and Little John worry AbOUT his safety. Later, they rejoice when they are reunited with him. At the end of the film, Skippy goes with Robin, Marian, and Little John on their honeymoon. The reason is does this is expressed in what he tells Toby Turtle: "Well, Robin's going to have kids, so somebody's got to take care of them."
