SkinCeuticals is a cosmeceutical skin care company that introduced the first stable L-ascorbic acid preparation (topical Vitamin-C application) to the U.S. market. Co-founded in 1997 by Russell Moon and Alden Pinnell, the international brand was acquired by the L'Oréal Group under the Active Cosmetics division.
SkinCeuticals sells its products through a specialized distribution network including dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons, and high-end spas. Its headquarters remain in Dallas, Texas while sales reach more than a dozen countries.
