SimulScribe
SimulScribe is a United States voicemail-to-text company, founded in 2003 by James Siminoff, that in 2003 began to convert voicemail to text and deliver it via email and SMS text messages for mobile, home, office, and Internet phones. In April 2007 SimulScribe integrated Vonage. SimulScribe works with over 95% of home, office, VoIP, and mobile voicemail systems. In June 2003, SimulScribe launched a visual voicemail application called SimulSays, which runs on Windows Mobile and BlackBerry by RIM.
SimulScribe utilizes a voice recognition system to convert voicemail to text and deliver it via e-mail or SMS. Voicemail transcribed through SimulScribe arrives as an e-mail with the callerβs phone number in the subject line, transcribed voice message in the body of the e-mail, and an attached audio file of the original message.
SimulSays is a downloadable visual voicemail application. SimulSays enables users to select which voice message to play back by scrolling through a chronological list of voicemail messages and selecting which message they want to play.
