Simon Bronsky
Simon Bronsky is a minor Australian poet of the late 1960's and 1970's.
Born in Adelaide in 1946, he published "Good Morning Earthquake" in 1969 and in 1970 was featured in a collection, "The Pyromaniac: Song and Dance" with two other Adelaide poets, Peter Hicks and Rob Tillett. His work was published in a number of small magazines of the time, notably "MOK Magazine" published by Rob Tillett and Richard Tipping. The last known published work by Bronsky was a selection of his work by Rob Tillett published by Angus and Robertson in their "Poets of the Month" Series, also under The Title "Good Morning Earthquake", series 1, 1976.
Bronsky belonged to the street-performance Adelaide poets of the generation opposed to the Vietnam War, along with Rob Tillett, Peter Hicks, Andy Fricker, Richard Tipping and Margot Nash.
