Siddeshwara Swamiji
His Holiness Sri Siddheshwara Swamiji is the spiritual successor to His Holiness Sri Mallikarjuna Mahaguru of Jnana Yogashrama, Bijapur, Karnataka,India. The respected Swamiji is a post-graduate in Philosophy and he has researched deep into the spiritual depths of all the great religions of the world. Profoundly learned and a powerful speaker. Sri Siddheshwara Swamiji leads a very simple life; therefore his precepts and practices fully agree with each other. Visitors feel enthralled at his soft spoken and most unassuming nature. Time seemingly stands still when he starts his discourses covering a wide range of philosophical experiences.
Sri Siddheshwara Swamiji's simplicity, detachment, yogic moods, compassion, creative approach to spiritual issues and his incomparable calm and composition do make onlookers feel elated. His Holiness is an excellent example of a truly great spiritual master!
Sri Siddheshwara Swamiji is well versed in Kannada, Sanskrit, English, Marathi and Hindi and he has authored many works of great literary and spiritual standing. His discourses in Vedantha, Gita, Yoga Suthra etc., are known for their precision, penetration and sublime interpretations attracting the learned and the laymen alike. His works on Upanishads, Gita and the Vachanas and Shiva sharanas are known for their author's originality in thinking, expression and contemplation. His "God, world and soul" is a masterpiece of this kind. He has edited his own preceptor's "pathanjali's Yogasutra" with a great scholarly Erudition. He took Sanyasa at the age of twenty.
