Shohagi Union High School

Shohagi Union High School ( Bengali : সোহাগী ইউনিয়ন উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় ), Ishwargonj, Mymensingh, Bangladesh

It is the most renowned school in Ishwarganj because of its historical background and academic performance. The school is located near at Shohagi Bazar. It was established in 1955. About 1500 students are studying now.

History

Shohagi Union High School was established in 1955. It is a half government high school. During last 55 years it has educated many outstanding students who have been recognized for national importance.

Admission

Generally, admission is permitted in class six once in a year. There is no eligibility for admission test, and with good performance in admission test, students are usually admitted in this class.

Tuition Fee

If it is a half government high school, tuition fee is very low compared to private school. Besides, poor merit students can read for free. In each class, there are 2/3 class representative who usually deal with teachers and knows as class representatives. Class representatives are elected by the class with a guidance of the class teacher.

Educational facilities

Shohagi Union High School has educational facilities like science laboratory, workshop, computer lab, covered gymnasium, and library. Lessons on physics, chemistry, and biology are normally imparted in the science laboratory.
