Shiliver Rebbe

The Shiliver Rebbe was a fictional character in the book Kaddish by Ka-Tzetnik 135633. He was a Hasidic rabbi who opposed openly resisting the Nazis on the grounds that resistance meant certain death and thus constituted [...], which is strictly forbidden.
