Shigeo Mito
is a Japanese lutenist, Theorbist and vihuelista.
Born in Osaka, he came to Europe in 1980 to study at the Estatal Conservatorio Superior de Musica Oscar Espla Alicante and Real Conservatorio Superior de Musica Madrid. Then studied with Jose Miguel Moreno, Hopkinson Smith and Jordi Savall. After returning to Japan, he holds many recitals and has workshops for lute and vihuela.
