Shaun Thomson
Shaun Thomson of New Zealand is a cook and writer of the yet to be released "Confessions of a Food Junkie ... A cookbook for the Soul". (expected worldwide release date 20/10/2010)
According to his website 1, he grew up in small town New Zealand and learnt the art of cooking and baking from his mother and grandmother.
Personal life
Little is known AbOUT Shaun's personal life. This May Be because he tends to keep his personal life out of the eyes of the public.
He resides in Christchurch, New Zealand and can be found frequenting it's many cafe's, book stores and of course bakeries.
Career
Shaun has had a career working mostly in Banking and Finance. After a few setbacks he decided to focus more on what gave him pleasure (baking and cooking).
Shaun's up coming cookbook "Confessions of a Food Junkie ... A cookbook for the Soul" is the work of over a year of planning, cooking, baking and hard work.
Shaun hasn't said who he would class as an idol (in the food world) but he is known to enjoy the talents of Raymond Blanc, Laura Calder and Jo Seagar (also from New Zealand).
Shaun has only started on what promises to be a fantastic career in food.
