Shashank Shekhar
Shashank Shekhar is an author, speaker and CEO of Arcus Lending, a mortgage lender in the state of California.
Education
Shekhar is a graduate from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. He holds the Master of Business Administration degree from the institute. He also holds the Real Estate Broker license from California Bureau of Real Estate (BRE) and Competent Communicator Certification from Toastmaster International.
Career
Shekhar started working for General Electric (GE) in 2000 and then worked with Parsec Interact Inc. in 2005 where he was the Director of Product Management. In early 2008, he founded a mortgage lending company Arcus Lending from his apartment. He saw an early success when he was named in the list of Top 40 under 40 most influential mortgage professional in the US for three years in a row. Shekhar began writing in 2010 and authored a book "First Time Home Buying 101". In 2011 he authored his second book "Real Estate Unleashed" and was a co-author of "Outfront" which made to the Amazon.com best-seller list.
