Shahin Kabir

Md Shahin Kabir is a Bangladeshi legal scholar and academic specializing in the intersection of law and technology, artificial intelligence, and international humanitarian law. He serves as an Associate Professor and Advisor of Law at the Lakhmi Chand Institute of Technology (LCIT) in Bilaspur. Kabir holds academic affiliations as an External Academic at the University of Oxford, and the Columbia Law School . He is also a Senior Research Scholar at Amity University and has held various visiting and guest faculty roles at institutions including Chandigarh University and the University of New Hampshire.

Education

Kabir holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Hons) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.). He completed double specialized PGD in Advanced Research Methodology and ICT Education. He further completed advanced research fellowships in legal studies at the University of Oxford, the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) at the University of London, and the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law.

Kabir holds concurrent academic appointments as an External Academic at the University of Oxford and the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law at Columbia Law School. He is also a Senior Research Scholar at Amity University Dubai. His previous roles include serving as an Associate Professor of Law at Raffles University, a Visiting Researcher at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, and an Honorary Research Associate at the University of Hong Kong. Kabir also held guest and adjunct faculty positions at Chandigarh University and Integral University. He is a registered researcher at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS), University of London, and serves on the editorial boards of academic journals including Asian Social Science (Canada) , Macrothink Institute (USA).
