Sex brennt (exhibition)

[...] brennt (German: [...] burns) was an exhibition on Magnus Hirschfeld’s Institute for [...] Research and the Burning of the Books held from May 6, 2008 to September 14, 2008 at the Medical History Museum of the Charité University Medical Center in Berlin.

Initiated by the Magnus Hirschfeld Society, the exhibition commemorated the work of German physician and sexologist Magnus Hirschfeld and opened 75 years after the raid on Hirschfeld’s Institut für Sexualwissenschaft in May 1933.
