Seaford Cricket Club

Seaford Cricket Club is an amateur cricket club located in East Sussex near to the large towns of Brighton and Eastbourne. The Club has 1st & 2nd XI teams in the Sussex County League Division 3 East and with 3rd & 4th XI teams in the 8th & 12th Divisions of the Parker Building Supplies East Sussex League plus a Sunday XI, Midweek XI & Woman's XI.

Junior section

In addition there is also a Junior Section with Boys Under 10, U12 , U13, U14, U16 & U18 teams entered into Junior Leagues.

Accreditation

Seaford Cricket Club is one of a growing number of cricket clubs recognized by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Sport England as showing a commitment to the welfare of its junior players. Therefore the club has been awarded the Clubmark Accreditation from the ECB which highlights the club as a 'Focus club' for developing cricket in Sussex.

Club facilities

The Club plays its home games at the Salts Recreation Ground in Seaford (one of the only cricket grounds in the country known to be below sea level). The ground has two pitches to provide for the four teams and has club facilities with changing rooms, a pavilion and practice net facillties.
