Scott Alldridge

Scott David Alldridge (born November 18, 1969) is an American information technology executive and author.

Early life and education

Alldridge earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Kensington College of Business in 1996. He subsequently received a Master of Business Administration from European International University, and completed a professional program in technology and data privacy at Harvard University. He is also a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO).

Career

Alldridge began his entrepreneurial career in 1996 by founding IP Services, initially as part of MicroAge, a Fortune 500 technology integrator. In 2003, he co-founded the IT Process Institute (ITPI), a research organization dedicated to advancing IT standards and security practices.

In 2001, Alldridge founded A&A Properties Northwest, responsible for developing a 14,000-square-foot office building and data center in Eugene. Continuing his entrepreneurial pursuits, he established SJA Enterprises, Inc.

Alldridge has also served as chairman of the board at New Hope Christian College in Eugene, Oregon. He has appeared as a guest on podcasts produced by the Center for Internet Security and HIMSS Media, and has been listed as an advisor to AMS AI, a company developing artificial intelligence–powered solutions for hospitals.

Furthermore, Alldridge co-authored the Visible Ops series, including The Visible Ops Handbook (2004) and Visible Ops Security. His more recent work includes Visible Ops Cybersecurity: Enhancing Your Cybersecurity Posture with Practical Guidance.
