Schiel & Denver Publishing Ltd, founded in April 2008, is a book publishing services provider with publishing offices in Houston, Texas and England. The company has a strategic alliance with Ingram Book Group and is a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association, American Translators Association, New York Center for Independent Publishing and participates in the United Nations Global Compact.

Schiel & Denver specializes in offering ISBN book publishing, editorial and book marketing solutions to independent authors, who retain creative control and all the publishing rights to their manuscripts through a non-exclusive publishing agreement. The company publishes children's books under a separate book publishing imprint called Heirloom.

History

In December 2008, Professor Ruben Nazario M.D., a board certified professor of pediatrics at the University of Kentucky Children's hospital published a Spanish language text, Julia and Winter Tales, with Schiel & Denver, which went on to become a popular foreign language seller on Amazon.com and bookstore cafes across America. According to Reed College, former Oregon county commissioner Caroline B. Miller published her critically acclaimed novel, Heart Land, with Schiel & Denver in April 2009, which was subsequently re-published in extract format in the Reed College Alumni Magazine, Reediana.
