Say a Prayer: Reconstruction
"Say A Prayer: Reconstruction" was a limited EDition two disc maxi-single by American pop singer Khanoda released only in New Zealand to celebrate the 10th anniversary release of the pop ballad Say A Prayer included on both the US and EU versions of his 1998 mock hits collection, Klosure.
Song history
"Say A Prayer: Reconstruction" compiled new recordings and remixes of Khanoda's 1989 song "Say A Prayer" including "The Reconstruction Mix" which clocks in at approximately thirty minutes and Thirty Eight seconds. Only 5,000 copies of the two disc maxi-single were pressed and released in New Zealand on November 1, 1999. The Release date coincided with All Saints Day, a holiday observed by Catholics and Christians. The CD packaging was a specially designed box trimmed with 14 carat gold and lined with red velvet. The CD was pure white--giving the look of host served at Communion--and individually enveloped in tea-dyed STOCK that was sun-dried and wax sealed with a Black Letter "K" by hand. At the time of its release, the cost of the CD was $150.00 (American). Very few copies of this edition still exist.
