Saving Molly
Saving Molly, Beijing Post-Hardcore / Hardcore band.
History
The band was formed in September of the year 2007 playing screamo/hardcore. After participating in a series of shows, they won the prize of "Recommended New Voice Award" in the competition "W.O.A Metal Battle" (China division) in 2008 and the prize "Best Composition" at the same competition one year later.
In January 2010, the band opened for American emo band SAOSiN during their Beijing stopover and one year later for German metal band The Ocean.
In May 2012, Saving Molly was selected as one of 20 metalcore bands to be included in the compilation CORE IN CHINA, representing the Chinese metal scene worldwide.
