Satellier Inc. is a US based company, headquartered in Chicago, IL with operations in India. The company provides global workshare services to architecture, engineering, construction and owner-operated (AECO) partners.

History

Satellier employs over 250 people in its offices located in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, London, New Delhi, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Its portfolio spans a range of markets, including retail, health care, residential, office complexes, mixed-use facilities, hospitality, education, and campuses worldwide.

In April 2008, Satellier acquired Screampoint, the inventor of and leader in 5D Digital City and Digital Building systems.

Services

Satellier provides workshare services such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), Design Support, Engineering/MEP, Design Management Services, and computer aided drafting support to architectural, engineering, and MEP disciplines. In India, Satellier offers Design Management Services that bridge the gap between international design and local construction realities in India.

Satellier's employees are experienced with international design standards and construction technology practices, and are affiliated with the AIA (American Institute of Architecture), RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects), and other leading organizations serving the global architecture, engineering, construction, and owner communities.

Key people

The Satellier is founded by CEO Michael Jansen, a graduate of the Yale and Cambridge Schools of Architecture as well as a Fulbright scholar. The management team includes: Stephen Barnes, president, came from AECOM, a $4B provider of global support services, where he held several senior management roles. And Paul Doherty, CTO, is a registered architect, and a 22-year veteran in AEC recognized as an industry expert in integration of technology, process, and business and most recently served as VP for K. Hovnanian Homes, one of the largest home builders in the U.S.
