Sarah Grimstone

Sarah Grimstone, better known as Grim Rita, is an advice columnist who is best known for having been featured on the community website Faceparty.

Her weekly Faceparty column featured humorous advice on various [...] and lifestyle problems, usually containing [...] references and expletives - which was confusing since members of all ages could access her page, while user's accounts are screened for bad language. Her page was updated most weeks from her first appearance on the site in 2002 until June 2006, when her section was removed without comment from the site for unknown reasons.

On July 28 1999 she appeared on the cover of the Media Guardian newspaper, and also during year briefly worked for Penthouse magazine as a columnist. Later work in print included writing the agony advice column for a popular young girls magazine called Minx, which she wrote as a dominatrix and a page in the shortlived Pure magazine, a glossy fashion and art publication based in Shoreditch.

Her career has branched out into other media, appearing on 'The Last Word' with Les Dennis, being interviewed by Endemol AbOUT fetishes for Sky One and and presenting a show for the same channel entitled ‘British [...]’. Additionally, she has interviewed on BBC Radio 1 on 'Newsbeat' about teenager's safety online, and for ‘The Sunday Surgery’, where she was asked on to give advice to teenagers about coming out and other gay issues. Notably, she managed to get away with saying ‘[...]’ at 6pm, before the 9pm watershed.
