SAPO Messenger
SAPO Messenger is an application based in the Jabber protocol developed by PT Comunicações made specially for Portuguese speaking countries since it is only available in Portuguese. It includes VoIP features: you can make calls between computers, receive calls from a phone and make calls to a phone. Calls can include video. It has an MSN and ICQ mirror, but chat between Sapo Messenger users is more functional.

- 80 Emoticons, 170 "Bocas" (Audibles-like animations in portuguese; although they are in vectorial format, they are sent in 96x96 resolution), and "Melga" (Buzz-like alert that only works with other Sapo Messenger contacts).
- Multi-contacts (a contact with multiple entries).
- Photo Sharing.
