Sang Hun Lee

Sang Hun Lee, M.D. (September 5, 1914 - March 22, 1999), was the Author of several books on "Unification Thought," the philosophical treatment of the teachings of the Unification Church, was the church's authoritative author on this subject matter. He also wrote Communism: A Critique and Counterproposal, and was the church's authoritative author on this subject matter as well. These books, although subordinate to "Divine Principle", are considered of primary importance in the Unification Church.

The Unification Church asserts that, following his death, Lee has conducted a number of seminars in the spirit world. According to medium Young Soon Kim's reporting of Lee's minutes of the event, one conference was attended by the founders and representatives of five leading religions and communism, each of whom proclaims their allegiance to Sun Myung Moon. God also gives his support in an included letter. The report forms the document, "Clouds of Witnesses".

In another series of reports "channeled" from the spirit world by Young Soon Kim, Lee relays testimony from 35 deceased U.S. Presidents (through Lyndon B. Johnson); all 35 strongly endorse Sun Myung Moon, and nearly all explicitly proclaim that he is "the Messiah, the True Parent of all humankind who has appeared to guide us," the "Savior of all humankind who is leading the Completed Testament Era," or similar. Abraham Lincoln, for example, shouts 3 cheers: "Rev. Sun Myung Moon, Mansei! Returning Lord and Messiah, Mansei! True Parents of humanity, Mansei!" Franklin D. Roosevelt prays to God to "please protect and preserve The Throne of the True Parent, Rev. Sun Myung Moon."
