Saima Chaudry

Fehmida Chaudry, prefers to be called Saima, is the fictional character of the Pakistan television series Kis Ki Ayegi Baraat, portrayed by Bushra Ansari. Fehmida is said to change her name & prefer being called Saima. Her first appearance was in Episode 1 of Azar Ki Ayegi Baraat when she comes to visit the house of the Ahmed's.

Character history

Saima is the most popular character of the series & is based in Faisalabad, Punjab. She got married to Warsi over 30 years back & has two children. Her parents died shortly after her marriage. She established her presence as a fashion designer in Faisalabad during start of the second series Dolly ki Ayegi Baraat & was the first Faisalabadi to attend the Karachi Fashion Week of 2010. However due to her uncivilized nature, frequent use of desi Punjabi language & arrogance was forced out of the event by armed guards. However in the third series she gets to officially showcase her collections. She has established a brand titled Saima Day Laskhara which has seen great success in Faisalabad & Lahore & is now working on creating her presence in Karachi. She has designated her son Vicky (played by Asad Siddiqui) to look over her business professionally. Her daughter is married to a Nabeel & currently resides in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

"Saima" appeared in Kis Ki Ayegi Baraat, Azar Ki Ayegi Baraat, Dolly ki Ayegi Baraat, Takkay ki Ayegi Baraat and Annie ki Ayegi Baraat.
